Journalism of the 21st Century: Public Duty

The conference focuses on the public duty of journalism and marks the 80th anniversary of journalism education at St Petersburg University and the 35th anniversary of the Department of Journalism Theory and Mass Communications. The programme includes a plenary session, panel discussions and expert round tables, welcoming both accounts of successful social practices of media and problem-oriented polemical debate. The event is intended for researchers and media practitioners and runs over two days.
